Type species: Phacelocyathus flos (Pourtales, 1878).

Characteristics: Quasicolonial, new corallites srising from encrusting coenosteum. Basal diameter increases by adding exothecal dissepiments over raised costae. Pali before all but last cycle. Columella papillose or lamellar. Sparse tabular endothecal dissepiments.
Range: Caribbean, Indo-Pacific.
