Description: Colonies bushy with rounded branches. Colonies grey, light yellow or light brown. Surface layer of coenenchyme with wart-clubs. Interior with spindles. Zooxanthellae present.

Habitat: reefs, 3-40 m

Range: Tropical Indo-Pacific.

Remarks: The sclerites of this genus are very similar to those of Hicksonella, but the rods with small tubercles at the basal end and a long smooth shaft are not present.
