Description: Colonies arborescent with branched polyparium. Polyps sessile or pedicellate, not retractile, without supporting bundle. Sclerites are needles and slender spindles. In surface layer of base of colonies capstans and derivations of capstans. Colour of colonies whitish, yellowish, greenish. Zooxanthellae present.
Habitat: shallow water.
Range: Widespread in tropical Indo-Pacific.
