Description: Colonies arborescent with branched polyparium, stiff. Polyps not retractile, distributed on distal part of terminal branches, without supporting bundle. Sclerites are tuberculate spindles. Colour of colonies yellow, orange, red. Zooxanthellae absent.

Habitat: deeper water, in caves or under overhangs.

Range: Widespread in tropical Indo-Pacific.
