Genera: Three genera are found in the Shallow waters of the Indo-West Pacific:
Genus Alertigorgia Alertigorgia (1),
Genus Erythropodium,
Genus Solenocaulon Solenocaulon (1)
Description: Colonies encrusting, bushy or fan-shaped. Branches are flattened ( genus Alertigorgia) or hollow (genus Solenecaulon).
